Are small pets allowed for JRFs in College or flats at Oxford, Univ College?

I am working on a MA degree at Oxford beginning this Aug. 1. I also have a Ph.D. and am a little dismayed at some of the policies regarding rooms at Oxford. But the last I heard was that pets were not allowed. I, like you am used to a certain bit of leeway in terms of accomodations, especially for grown folks. Me I just ponied up the money for a single room at St. Anthonys. Good luck but I don't think you are going to be able to do much while being accomodated at one of the residence halls. Try off campus.
