A lot of your automotive leather cleaners contain alcohol, which can cause the leather to dry out and actually decrease the life of the leather. If you have a local western wear store nearby, or a shoe or boot store close, they will have the paste or liquid leather conditioner, or mink oil in stock, that will make your leather soft again. Your dealer probably has a leather conditioner as well, but the local stores will probably be cheaper.
