Part-time summer job-should I take it? And I need some advice?

So, I'm a freshman in high school (this is the end of my freshman year) and I really wanted a summer job. My friend works at a boat rental place in upstate NY, where I stay for the summer, and she said she kinda hooked me up with a job and I should call the boss and talk to him. I only want to work like 3 days a week, and an early shift because this is the summer that I turn 15 years old and I still wanna have fun and party and hang out with friends, but I'm sick of bumming around. Right now, I'm staring at my phone thinking whether i should dial his number or not. Any advice?
